Hello,

I am investigating treasures buried/lost in NJ. One story in particular was very interesting. The story goes that a famous thief, Arthur Barry, was living as a boarder on a farm in NJ. One day the police came to the farm and told the owner that his boarder was Arthur Barry, and that a large amount of stolen money had been lost. Does anyone have any more information on this or any other treasure story in NJ?

Thanks

There are some good links to info on google.

https://www.google.com/search?q=art...=1&ie=UTF-8#q=arthur+barry+nj+jersey+treasure

You can also search college or any newspaper archives to see what articles were written in the news. I would think that there would be more specific info on the location of the farm.

Searching farm AND Arthur Barry there are six newspaper articles at a cost at New Jersey Newspaper Archives (1871 - 1954)

There are also free archive's that are searchable on the net.

Good luck! If I was close to there I would look!
