Has trex been found in nj or any other part of the Appalachian mountains?

No. The western interior seaway separated the lands from where tyrannosaurus lived and the continent Appalachia. There were tyrannosauroids that lived here like Dryptosaurus and appalachiasaurus, but no t.rex.
