Possible Celt or azde

Found in northern NJ where I frequently find arrowheads just seems out of the ordinary. Maybe someone can give some input. One of the sides seems like it’s really smooth as if it’s been ground. I’ve found a broken axe head in this spot before but this material doesn’t seem as good. Hopefully someone in the northern nj area would know

The top of it feels polished and in the middle of the stone on top looks like there’s a spot that was chipped away. Fits in the hand like it was used for chopping. Could be just a plain stone. Looked out of place so I picked it up just in case I found a lot of argulite and shale points there.

I believe I see the polish you are talking about. If that isn’t a natural polish I would think it is use wear rather than from being ground. Use wear on that area would lead me to believe either pestle or hide working tool.
