Well I didn't think I would improve on yesterday, as we were going into an area which had no plots from last year (not always a bad thing as today proves). 5.5hrs
6 Hammered (4 to me, 2 to Dad) - Thats 15 in the last 5 outings 8)
Most of them are in poor condition but one of the Lizzy Halfgroats is better than normal & so is the Charles I Penny

1 17th C Token
9 Roman Coins (1 album condition)
Lead Tudor Button with shank (my first of this type)
Medieval Belt Mounts
Tudor Book Clasp
18th C Clog Clasp

I must warn you we have now finished the end where we left off last year, so it will be back over old ground. Good news is that Land Mag & the Cortes had a quick go & got several buttons we missed plus a Roman Coin. Also 2 of these hammered came from an area we had covered.
In our favour is the settled (no air) ground & its still wet

Its our target (100) but I don't think we will make it, only on 43 & most of our other fields are Roman only (ie. didn't continue on past that period).
