no civil war relics today but I did tag this.

I have been trying for 2 days to locate a civil war era home to no avail got brick dish but no relics from the civil war so pulled off it and went to another site and was getting a little down as there was all kinds of visual evidence black glass,brick ,stone ware etc but no relics. Keith dug a flat button and moving to the other part of the field I get a hit I actually called it a large cent before I dug it ,I missed it a little. Ill take a king george the 3rd instead.

Congrats. That's the way I usually find them and worse.

Yesterday afternoon as I dug a IH, I thought for sure you'd have a button. Rather have the big coppers
