✅ SOLVED No clue on this object

I found it at a site which dates back to early 1800's. The rivets seem to make it look not so old. There are two layers under the rivets, and I am not sure what they are. Thanks in advance

That's a heavy duty item! Possibly copper under the rivets.

Maybe a cauldron leg?
