✅ SOLVED Ornate brass/copper-plated mystery

I found this on the same property where I recently found a minie ball. House was on the property dating back to likely the early 1800's. This piece is about six inches long and very lightweight. Separately, the two pieces didn't make much sense, but when I fit them together as best I could, there are two distinct "tunnels" (for lack of the proper word). It almost looks like it could have been a gun but the lightweight metal doesn't make much sense in that context....Thanks in advance for any clues!

Most Western Cowboy Style Cap guns from 50's 60's have that Decoration
Hubly Had a Copper Colored Gun.
Though Not It, It appears to Me as it's This Part

This section with the bridge makes me think rifle over pistol. I have a shotgun (Real) with the bridge on it.

Don't know if pistols came with that feature or not.

Yes I Think My Edit is the General area on the Gun.
I Never Thought about Rifles

That feature is called a ventilated rib. Or just vent rib for short. Colt Pythons and Diamondbacks have those. Maybe a toy copy of one of those. Shotguns commonly have those too.
