this is the 3rd draped bust LC from this early 1800's farm. a 1798 and 1800 LC was pulled from there last year and this "no date" 2 days ago. the silver brooch was a bonus. :)
i keep telling myself there is a chain cent there somewhere. can't hurt to hope right?

yea the chain cent,your in the area to find it .... Good luck

there were 2 chain cents found about 15-20 years ago 2 miles away from this house. there was a magazine article about it. this house is on the same road. so there is always a chance

The 2 Scotties broach could be a WW II pin. There was an Army unit that used that exact same pin as a sort of coat of arms...the precursor to the modern day coin challenge so to speak. Sorry, but I don't remember exactly what the unit was. If I can find my notes on it I will let you know...Brad
