No FG Halves

Recently I see quite a few finding no FG halves . I decided to give it a try with the boxes I ordered this week . Found a few extremely weak.....but with a loupe you could just make out the impression of the fg. Are the ones your finding completely missing it or just extremely weak? Also the ones I run into look like they were made from a worn out die....as they all had a dull finish like they'd been sandblasted. Next question is what are these worth? Thanks, Terry

I found one last week that I thought at first had no FG but after a little cleaning with toothpaste, I was wrong, but the FG impression could just barely be seen when magnified. I have seen a few other that were very weak and even some where the G was visable but the F was not visable without magnification. As to what these are worth, I suspect not much more than .50 unless the coin is a 90 or 40% er.
