No silver, but a Buff

[halfdime]

I went back to the site of yesterday's triple play and found an 18 Buffalo nickel. Also found were a 45 wheat and a handful of modern pennies and dimes. Enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and a few minutes of baseball talk before I had to pick up the kids.

There's just something about a Buff that makes it an especially happy find. I think it's because I'm just old enough to remember (rarely) finding them in pocket change and what a happy event that was. Mercury dimes, too.

Good deal. I'm Buffaloless this year. New goal for the year - Buffalo Nickel!
