I hate snow. If I never saw a snowflake again I would be just as happy as could be...

The conditions are about the same here on the Lake, 90 deg., clear, with a slight WNW breeze that is the saving grace

Thank god for all the rain and overcast here the last 4 weeks plus, or it would be in the 100's again here this year

at least 3 more days yet :occasion18:

Thunder heads stating to form could be interesting PM> been on the tracter since 6 am, and now time to go sit in the Lake......Gary

And a Few more degrees added

Dang, Jeff! It's hotter there than here. With our humidity, some days you just can't breathe outside.

I haven't stepped outside since about 9AM today, when I went out to
open My Explorer up. Won't step out now till about 7 - 8 pm when I close things
up for the night.
is really stifling when I walk away from My fan, I'm glad I don't have AC though.
would be worse

I built my house on a slab. If I keep doors and windows shut during the day and only open windows at night then the slab moderates the temp very nicely.

Due to a 1 1/2 story hedge which blocks most of the days Sun from my yard & House,
I'm usually Freezing inside even when it's pushing 80 outside.

But Lucky for me, these air Temps in the 90's do make it inside & warm me up before fall :headbang:

Tomorrow (Friday) is supposed to be our Hottest day.

No we ain't breaking records. it's Not Global Warming :tongue3:

It's a good thing I was born in the South, for I would take a 95 degree day over months and months of snow and ice. I know I would go all "Here's Johnny!" If I had to deal with that stuff.

Yes I put up with that Crap every year, The last 2 the snow has started in October already.

I always thought it was to get away from Kids & move to gated (Prison) Communities,
where children & noise aren't allowed :tongue3:

Started rising earlier today

Local Weather just said we could hit 110 today.

Here in southeast Arkansas, I don't think we've hit 100 so far this year. Very close, but not yet.

You know it's not that the climate is cooling (usually we hit 100 second week of June and almost every day thereafter until September) because it isn't getting hotter.

Now, once the temp gets over 100, THEN it's global warming rearing its ugly head. That's the week the tooth fairy takes off for vacation.

What? If you believe one fairy tale, you might as well believe them all.

Our heat wave is supposed to Break Saturday Evening :(

Hopefully not our last

It already feels like summer is coming to an end. I am so not looking forward to winter!

Jeff, here is a pic of my son and house from last winter. This should make all of us appreciate the heat.

You northerner's crack me...:hello: Come down here where we get no snow and little rain year round, yet we have 50+ golf courses in the Phoenix area alone.

I live in the desert for a reason. I hunt all year. We actually had rain last two days. No hunting due to flash floods and being stuck in a rather unhospital places lol. It will be dry by noon tomorrow with luck. You hear people talking about snow in the desert and they aint talking about snow.....Enjoy the heat while it last folks.
