Hello fellow explorers,
I'm receiving my new At Pro w/5x8 coil today, and will be using it this weekend. Winter is coming and would like to get the most I can out of it before the MT season is over for me anyway. I would like to hear what you would think the best settings for my first time out. I have found an IH penny on the land, so I would like to search for more coins and silver to begin with.
Ground Description:
House was built in 1907 in old coal mining town.
Seems to be a layer of 6 to 8 inches of topsoil over where I get most of my hits. Iron mostly, have dug up a lot of nails, and iron relics from the period. Also a a 1920 wheat, and 1903 indian head, a coal miners tag from the C.W&V Coal Company, and a token for merchandise from a town about 10 miles away. Also a few cast toy's.
No problem with mineralization and ground balancing.
If it was you, what would you set your machine at.
Thanks and HH
