So I've had my detector for about 5 months now and I can't seem to hit on anything over 4" deep. I've tried all settings and tested it on quarters and dimes. I'm not sure what's up but for the amount I paid I would think it would be able to hit on targets deeper than 4".

I have one, and to the opposite, I find a lot more at 5" to 10" then under 5.... I seldom even search over 75 on sensitivity.. I search mostly in DI3, less in DI2, and less in All Metal.. Maybe your not hunting where anything is over 5"?? I'd say, if you have no easy way to check it out, go burry a coin at 6", 7"...etc, and see if it picks it up. In all Honesty, the Relic is one of the Deepest machines I've ever owned in over 30 years of detecting...
