Nokta Pointer - a review of what I've discoverd about it so far
This is a nifty, well-designed, rugged pinpointer!
I've used it a lot, in the (about) two months I had it.
Took a couple of hunts, but had the mode and sensitivity adjustments
figured out.
I actually found the changing environmental and noise situation required,
using no-noise w/ vibrate, and the both noise and vibrate modes helpful.
Hadn't found need of noise-only mode, yet.
The TWO coil covers are a great idea!
In the parks, the cover without the scraping blades worked well in swiping the probe
over the grass, to quickly locate the target..., and, the other cover, in highly compacted sites,
like campground and roadbeds, where scratching/scraping around, chasing after a target was
a fast way to recover the goodies.
A good priced-unit,
The other "extras" that came with it, wasn't needed.
My old Garrett pointer holster works very well with my new probe.
Buy the Nokta!
