Non Electric Christmas Tree Light? IS IT OLD??

Hello everybody!...I got this clip on christmas tree light(?),well i got a bag full(approx.20)and was wondering if the are old (or newer repros.)they seem to be old as the construction is fairly good.i would think that if newer they would be cheaper in construction! but i DO NOT KNOW that is why i'm posting this here on TN because i KNOW somebody can dial me in on these,THANK'S ALL&i'm willing to give a few away!!!
I have seen similar on a vintage christmas light site but not as elaborate as mine.

Diamond/Quilt pattern is most common for these type of lights,yes mine resemble a pinecone(is this a "diamond"/"quilt"pattern or concidered one? don't know)Thank's for your input! THIS IS WHY SO MANY TREE FIRES IN THE DAY I'm sure!

yep candles for the christmas tree lights -- thats why they had water bath type tree footings to help keep the tree wet so it didn't dry out catch fire as easily .--- still using candles was / and is very very dangerous to do --
