Am I alone in being spammed by Goldman's 'non ferrous metal detector' propaganda?

Does such a detector exist in real time & space-or is this punishment for having sold 'tropical' acreage in Greenland?

Sure. A "non-ferrous metal detector" is any modern metal detector with a discriminator. That is, a unit that can tell a coin from a bottle cap. No need to spam anyone.
