North Carolina newbie

[70vdub]

I'm a disabled vet with time on my hands, decided to give Metal Detecting a try.
after reading here and youtubes, I have decided to go with a Garrett AT Max as my first detector.
using it local, and i wanted one that I can use camping and when I go to the beach.
I live in Shelby, NC. and own a rusty 1970 VW bus, so thats why I chose 70vdub for my ID.
