Some from out here along Northern Nevada's Humboldt river and the trail the overlanders took to the 1849 gold rush days of California. Now the rush for gold is here in the basin and range country of northern Nevada. I can't imagine how much gold has been mined out here over the last 25 years I've been coming out to this rejoin of the country. I do know it be allot. The weather sure did cool quickly today, so I'm thinking I may see some winter weather driving conditions by weeks end. Hope it doesn't get to be to big a mess.

Very nice pics. thanks for sharing. Nice change from looking at all the snow out my window.

The topography looks similar to areas here in Montana. Thanks for sharing your views on your journeys!

It would be nice if there was actually good gold out here.

Driving out there in Nevada, you have to stay on the roads/tracks, or you sink outta sight....!
Great photos! Reminds me of my time in the upper Black Rock Desert....
Like you say, lots of history alongside the Humboldt River....!
