We are a couple of experienced (Michigan) metal detectors that would love to find some Civil War relics. Is there anyone living down south that would be willling to allow us to accompany them to a good spot for hunting relics? Living up here it is hard to get a handle on who owns the property now and if hunting is allowed etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are good people and would respect any restrictions that you would want to place. Also if someone could tell me how to get registered for those big relic hunts that happen from time to time I would appreciate it.
