NorthStar Saloon Merrill Wis token

Does anyone have any info on a Anderson Bros. Northstar Saloon , Merrill Wisconsin token?? It has a six pt star cut out of the middle and is in perfect shape. I found it in northern wis,but the Historical society in Merrill couldnt find any info on it. Any help would be appreciated

Johnson's book, Trade Tokens of Wisconsin, shows it as circa 1911-12. There are three major varieties (same 21mm diameter, and same wording, just different layouts), and the one like you have with the star cutout is known in minor varieties.

North Star Drive is the main road coming into Merrill....and follows along to the river,where alot of old business's used to be....there are alot of Anderson Bros. ....mainly an old furniture maker and then an auto dealership, there is also an Anderson Bros. Lumber.....

ok...am thinking here......there are two really old bars in Merrill....both about a hundred years old....Merrill is really an old town,formerly called Jenny....I used to live a few miles from there and Groundfisher from Tnet lives there now,so if you emailed him ,he might know as he knows Merrills history better than I do....
