I took my coin jug into the bank today to redeem for cash. They have a new system now where you dump it into a large counter and it prints out a ticket that you then take to the teller. I almost always ask for any unique coins and the woman offered up 30 Kennedy halves. I didn't expect to find any of the 64's (90%) but occasionally find some 65-70's as some don't know they have 40% silver. Well, I got a good surprise as 3 of the 30 were good ones, 2 64's and 1 68; all purchased at face value. Those 3 alone come within a few cents of doubling my investment!
