Not finding much gold with your E trac ? It might not be your fault..

It shouldn't be a surprise. The low op freq of the E-Trac is not ideal on low conductors, such as thin rings and chains. However, high conductors, like silver, are great with FBS. It is also the nature of the low freq to not be overly sensitive to iron, which is a plus. Overall, you need to consider the 'tool' you are using. You want small jewelry and fine gold - use something else.
