Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
I have been hanging around for awhile enjoying everyone's fantastic treasure finds, decided to take the plunge and make a post. I have been hunting for about 6 years and usually hunt salt water beaches and not finding much as the water is still cold and new drops are few. We took a spring camping trip to a lake and I decided to hunt there. Over three days, I found a ton of junk. Mostly older style pull tabs, bottle caps and other party favors, so the spot may not have been hunted in the recent past. Total take was 3 quarters (one appears to be 1946 but it is difficult to read the third number until after I clean it up) 5 dimes, 5 nickles and 17 pennies, 2 junk earrings, 2 junk pendants and a stainless steel spinner ring. The best finds were an "In God I Trust" tag, an elongated magnitite stone and a "No Value" token. Nothing special at the lake. For good measure I through in a photo of a 10k, 1.6g gold bead I found on the salt beach a few weeks ago. Happy Hunting to all.

Welcome to the forum and glad you took the plunge
and posted your keepers. It's a never ending challenge
to find keepers with all the trash left on the beaches.
