I went to a beach this morning not expecting to be able to get in the water and to my surprise it was very flat. The water was really nice sooo in I went. I hunted for about a half an hour and no sounds at all. Nothing. I checked my machine. Yes, it was on. Yes, it did beep when I moved it near my scoop. Well where are all the hits then? I hunted for another half hour and still nothing. I just could not believe that I was not coming across anything at all. So I moved up on the dry sand to give that a try. Yep, soda can. I found that! Another beep, a dime. I found that. Obviously my machine was working. I kept going in the dry sand. It took another half hour before I found another dime but noting else. I was getting discusted so I figured I would work myself back to the car and give it up for today. Swing, swing, swing beep! I figured another dime. NOPE! A RING AND A PRETTY ONE TOO! Ah now that is more like it. So I kept going. If there was a ring there then there has to be more stuff. Another half hour, nothing. I got back in the water, still nothing. Well that was it I decided to give it up and go home. On my way back to the car I found a pair of barrettes clipped together all rusty and a nickle. My total for today. 25 cents, a pair of barrettes and a silver ring. Yes, I said silver. It says 925 on the inside but I doubt the diamond is real. I have no way to test that still.... it's pretty and I'll take it !
