Not much meat - but still a Rev War bone

Had a pretty good plan today, and Ironhorse and I were ready to follow up a good day out yesterday by finding a new site or two today, but many fields still planted sent us scrambling to try to find something worthy of posting. It took a while, but I got there having found this New York Volunteers - 3rd American Regiment pewter button. Definitely worked hard for it today, but like I said to IH after it was all said and done.... Any Rev War button is a good day! (maybe that should be a great day)

There is probably more edge loss than you realize, but at least the number is clear. Still has the iron shank which most in this condition do not.

Good hunt and I’m sure lots more coming soon for you. I also like the complete jews harp. I only ever seem to find just halves or little pieces of them! [emoji2][emoji106]
