Not Much to Show

Hey folks,

Got out for an hour today to cover the yard of a 1920s house I've been eyeing. I'm friends with the property manager and he gave me permission to do that house as well as two others on the block. I hit the others earlier in the summer and found 5 wheats in one little corner of one yard and nothing else.

Unfortunately there wasn't much to see from this house. Found 2 dimes and 12 memorials in an hour. My brother and I are planning to hit a couple early 1900s houses near Tacoma on Sunday so hopefully I'll have more to show then.

Not all old sites produce silver. But I normally find some cool relics.

You did find coins, which is treasure by any account, and you had a day of adventure and possibilities -- I'd say that's worth celebrating!

sometimes it is what it is but don't write those places off quite yet. a return visit later might find more
