Not sure what this is? It says piece on it and other words but can't get good view, found it on a tore down 40s home site if anyone can help me id this and possibly year appreciate it thanks!!!

It has writing around the outside rim, but I can’t read it.

If you angle a lite to the side you might be able to read it or put a piece of paper over it and take a pencil and scrach it all around. The graphite will fill the blank space but the letters will not be filled, thus making a white letterd copy

I just wanted to thank uses for helping me with id the collar stud it does say "gold plated one piece" on it thanks again
