Intelligent theory if i say so myself. I should be more specific, i dont know why they carved this bone like what purpose would this serve? Any intelligent input would be a vast improvement to tge previous attempt at comedy. No offense

Its got cup shaped indentions. The darker marks right below are drilled holes and are on both ends. They are at an upward angle. The middle of the section you can see is precisely cut. Looks as if it would be a seat for tge bottom section of some type of blade or point. Holes drilled to better anchor or maybe stitching for ceremonial dress or something. The ends are compleyely different but both look designed to firmly seat a stone or attach to clothing. It has a section sliced off vertically and from a glancing blow of a very sharp object, my guess...its a knife handle or armor maybe? Looks like the cut came from being used in a defensive manner. Idk, its driving me mad not knowing what this is. It was found in former Creek ( Muskogee) territory, near Briar Creek in Cottonton, alabama

Try posting it in the North American Indian Artifacts forum. I'll bet its a Native American tool of some sort, made from bone. There are some people on that forum who I know can help you.
