Most definitely, it would be cool if the whole point looked like the translucent parts.
I like it the way it is, it’s more interesting that way...those with splotchy translucent fossils in a point are rarer than a complete trans. one, glad that one didn’t get away.
I always like the Knarly points found here in Florida. That's a good one.

Some of our valid New England Types are known to be (and sometimes are expected to be) a little gnarly.
I especially like the backlit translucent opal-like inclusions.
