Forgot to mention the base is snapped, maybe intentional. Even if not at least it isn't modern damage.

Certainly not the best, but I’m not kick’in it to the curb.
Definitely frame worthy in my book...at least one
of my frames

Most definitely, it would be cool if the whole point looked like the translucent parts.

I like it the way it is, it’s more interesting that way...those with splotchy translucent fossils in a point are rarer than a complete trans. one, glad that one didn’t get away.

Thanks Hal, it eluded me for awhile but my shovel held it down. It gave up the struggle.... you know how it goes. I had a Kirk made of the same material and the only translucent area was a small sideways "V" just below the tip.

I always like the Knarly points found here in Florida. That's a good one.

Beautiful, gnarly, and cool!

That point definitely has character! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing with us all.

I like it too!
Some of our valid New England Types are known to be (and sometimes are expected to be) a little gnarly.
I especially like the backlit translucent opal-like inclusions.
Cool artifact!

Thanks MA, the gnarly ones show they used them in which they were made for, I'll take a gnarly one over those g10 made yesterday points on ebay anyday.
