All Treasure Hunting
Haven't been out since March & now we are starting to get a few options. Not great options but better than nothing.
Started on a cultivated field that we haven't really tried before. It had no good signs & we moved after about 1 hour. Just a 1936 Penny to show & my mate getting just 1 musket ball.

Moved to a Wheat Stubble Field (not my fav digging conditions, but at least it was wet). The field is split into 2 parts, one I call 'The Hill' & one I call 'The Trackway Site'. There are a mix of finds but its mostly a Saxon area.
After about 2 hours the thurderstorm rolled in & we called it a day. Not much to show;
Ancient Awl (maybe Iron Age)
Roman 'holed' Coin (done in the Saxon period)

Very nice finds - congrats !

Are you able to hunt any of the old Houses, Churches, etc. in your area when the fields have been planted ?

Brilliant to see you back, Crusader… uve been missed xx

AMAZING finds CONGRATULATION !!!

Nice to see your post Crusader. Sometimes just getting out for a hunt ( finds or no finds) can be good for the soul. Here's hoping for some better things down the road.

Old houses maybe, not Churches. However, I switch to fishing when not detecting.

Congrats on a nice group of finds.
