Lady bought a bracelet last week for $323. She got it in the mail decided it was too small. So she tells me she's going to ship it back because she's not happy with it and she opens a case. Whatever that's fine so I tell her to mail it back she prints out the slip and waits like a day before she actually mails it, maybe two days. I get an email today from eBay saying that the case was decided in her favor and they took the money out of my account and paid her. I have not even gotten the bracelet back in the mail yet.

Why would they make such a hasty decision? It's literally been 4 days since she opened the case!

Is there a window in which eBay automatically closes it if you don't contest it?

You will be lucky if you get the bracelet back. Nowadays the buyer can get their money back & keep the item. It happened to me & it happens all the time to others. That's why I'm looking for other avenues to sell my expensive items.

Can you appeal it? Did she use inad? I would let eBay know you never got it back.

I got it back today! Thank goodness! Thought it was a regular gold bracelet. Turns out it was a Roberto Coin bracelet. VERY happy to get this one back! Bidder caught that right before auction ended.
