These were from a couple weeks ago. I went out behind my house to sweep the acres of woods on my way to a cellar hole I was looking for. I found 4 complete horse shoes of various sizes, and probably 6 or 7 half shoes. Most of those I left there. Also a boot heel and a really old pocket knife. These woods are thick with trees that are over a hundred years old. It's hard to believe that a 100 years ago, this was all farm fields being plowed by men and horses, to make a life and feed a family. I painted the shoes - those will get hung up and displayed somewhere.
