So....I haven't been able to get out and hunt for like, 2 weeks or whatever.

Now I'm dreaming about it! I'm going through some serious withdrawals here.

I think if there was someone that was an expert at breaking addictions on this forum they would be quite popular-as this hobby is DANG ADDICTIVE ay.

I know exactly how you feel as I havne't been able to get out either.

I hear ya! I'm laid up with this bad knee and now sore foot and the loot is out there crying for me to deliver it.

I dream about digging large cents and gold pieces and in my really HOT dreams...IRON.

Soon All of Us Northern States MDer's will be going thru withdrawel, but for many months!!
I've been trying to get out as much as I can. This time of the year is Soooo busy. Actually took some time at lunch to hunt a park with A fellow MDer, found some clad- nothing great!
Matt and Badger-- feel Your pain ( well not Badger's, His is actually the pill popping type!!) .Hope Matt gets out soon and Badger heals!!

Shermanville: Most of the time I just dream of *hunting*, not necessarily finding, oddly enough.

And when I do find something in my dreams it is often something really wacky--but I'm thrilled as long as I'm still dreaming.

When I wake up and realize that the coin I was so excited about in my dream was actually a dinner-plate-sized green plastic token-like thingy with a chicken on it, I'm not quite as ecstatic.

I guess it means I'm just a searcher at heart--the finds are irrelevant, apparently.

We do have a 12 step program in place here.
You know....on second thought. Forgetta bout it. Cause we do the 12 steps backwards. So it would only make the fever worse. HH
