Now mag fishing is on TV

I was watching the Travel Channel a couple of days ago and Josh Gates of Expedition Unknown was magnet fishing. Some guide they hired to help find some lost treasure brought along a magnet that looked like the big double size at Harbor Freight. On the show it looked like both had never thrown one before.

Who would have guessed magnet fishing on tv. Did they find anything?

Can't remember exactly but they implied that it proves there was the treasure they were looking for was close by.
