stash.webp1.webptick.webp2.webp4.webppond.webp3.webpmy son and I got out for a few hours this morning before the rain, he hasnt detected with me in aabout 7 or 8 months so it was real nice to get out with him. we tried this spot in the woods where we found some old cellar holes last summer, last time we were there it was a million degrees n ticks everywhere. Theres alot of trash everywhere so the targets were hard to come by close to the foundations. So we walked the area that I pictured as the back yard way back when. Very few targets in that area until I got a truly amazing 85-88 at 6 inches. My whole intention was to get a live dig of any good targets but this sounded too good to b true so I just dug the hole. I scanned the dirt pile w my atpro and it was out of the hole and I didnt see any trash so I had my son start recording, i got a little excited so my potty mouth kicked in a bit lol. Anyway the target was a nice 1820-ish LC, the one picture of the two lcs is for comparison purposes. The other one is 1820 and they look similar. The puddle picture is what's left of the whole after the target came out and the picture of the tick was my little friend I found climbing on my neck on the way home. This is my second LC this year, this was one of my most favorite hunts because I got to share it with my son, thats what its all about thanks for looking and HH!

edit: working in the video, trying to edit out my curses since some people find it shocking that an almost 15 yr old heard his dad curse when he was excited, itll b up soon

I see Bye removed his post. I know other people would have complained too . There have been numerous times when people complained about women showing too much cleavage in the Mugs Forum.

Yeah its all good, the video is fixed n reposted

Sounds like a good, level-headed, future young man!...and.. as if he's not heard "worse"!!...in school, or even just walking down the street! ;) Nice finds!
My thoughts exactly, thanks

Heck, we all love cleavage, but some people are offended by it. I saw the video and knew it would bother people. Ticks, live out doors. I have had them on me all months of the year. If it's a warm winter, they will find you.

Censorship is always "good"

Good or bad, one thing is sure. There will also, always, be those who want their way, despite the rules, because, well, it's "their way. :coffee2:

Ha, ha, ha! Much ado about nothing!! LOL No, I don't mean your find. That is incredibly nice!!! Congratulations on that one!!

The vid was so ballyhooed that one would think it was a gold brick found just outside the boundaries of fort knox! LOL
It was excellent even after a bit of trimming. Love hearing the excitement between father and son over a great find!

Makes me think there must be a few here who only view this forum as their own personal research tool. Pics that have GPS on them, vids that "might" contain clues of location. Man! Post about a great find and DARE to not post a microscopically detailed pic! OR WORSE! Post one and/or a vid and then take it back down!!! LOL WOW! It's like some would reach right through the screen and pull the OP thru to force him to put it back up! How dare he post one and then take it down!! LOL :laughing7:

Great job cjon455! That was a wonderful share!

Cleavage?? Where?? Time to break out the cleavage detector with high discrimination...lol j/k

I betcha Mr. Sensitives kids drop more F-Bombs than admits too.

HA HA whadifind HA HA :laughing7: and yes thanks for posting the pics. keep it up!

Not so much, I was hunting (my .308) the late Rifle season, finished burying the gut pile. Nature called dial number 2, end result tick on a sensitive location.
Lmao same thing happened to me, I found mine in the shower, little scummy bug was about to make his "descent" if u know what I mean lol just about took my breath away

yes mostly everybody here agreed with me it wasn't such a terrible video to begin with but I feel better that I follow the rules and got the curse words outyeah you could hear the excitement in both of our voices and unfortunately I had a little more than excitement lol

No, this one was fully engorged. However, it was before the 48 hr threshold for Lyme. Ironically, it was found by my ex...maybe that's why she's my ex...ticks near his ____ no way.

Nice site & finds.
I could have done without the Tic though
Thanks jeff, I found this place by coincidence last summer while out on the atvs w my son, theres 3 celar holes right next to each other and a somewhat "modern" foundation that appears to b poured concrete, you can see that in the picture
