I got out to do some scouting, hoping for a good day in the neighborhood. There’s this 150 yo church that’s off the beaten path that I’ve had my eye on, so I figured I’d snoop for a permission. The house next to it is an average 1980s looking house…. But on a super-old foundation that matches the church? Weird! The owners were in the driveway, so I rolled up on them with all sorts of questions. When they told me their house was built on the foundation of a 2 room schoolhouse, i got all the feels.
Trash. Everywhere. I am so going back, as my new open permission has only been tickled in one spot. Check this out!
The Rosie and Merc, I swear it wasn’t me. Found those in the garden, it’s from their roto tiller.
Not pictured are the 12 wheats. Not one clad coin.
My guy and his family spent the day watching me while slamming a case of Busch Light. I tapped out for lunch, and returned with another 30 pack as a thank you. I told them to expect me back soon, they say I’m welcome anytime, even if they’re not home.
