Nice find for sure I have a couple of 1960s pesos close to Silver Dollar size but only .100 silver content. Mexico issued these coins because peso was revalued at a thousand to one in 1993. Cru, the 20 and $50 coins are still struck in 925 silver but the but the 10 has been debased. For a few dollars more you can get collector variety coins with a gold Outer Rim on the twenties and fifties. These Mexican 20 and 50 coins are currently the only official circulating coinage containing precious metal.
They have an interrupted reeding edge which I think my old .100 pesos also have
very interesting thanks for showing.
