Cold morning to hunt at Druid but it was my last shot at it for awhile. I dug IHC #19 for Feb 2019. This one was 4 inches below a 3-inch iron square nail that was at 5 inches. There was enough to the Equinox signal that said "dig it".

Wow. Indian 19 for the month? That’s amazing! Probably more than I have my whole life [emoji23]

!9 IH's in a winter month at pounded parks is superb!

That's awesome! I've found two and you can barely tell they are IHP's.

Thanks Upham! This park opened in 1860 but the area had been a home site from about 1800, so lots of older coins here.

Thanks LI Tom! Pretty sure I recovered one in January, to put February's finds in perspective.

Thanks washingtonian! Baltimore's 150th year from its founding occurred in 1880. The park movement started as city squares but later in the 19th century saw large tracts of land developed. The park where this IHC was dug is 745 acres.

Thanks Professor! Two other detectorists were there that morning and between the two of them dug a flying eagle cent, a 3-cent nickel and an IHC, so the old stuff continues to turn up.

Thanks Inspector! Think it will be tough to repeat this one.

Thx HIGHSTRUNG! Very happy to have come away with an IHC.

Thanks xcopperstax! It is in good condition for an 117 y.o.
