Nice and sunny today, and the thermometer hit 75 out there today. I went back to the little ghost town from a couple of days ago.
Fun in the dez!
Got a 1935-s dime,
1954-s and 1952-d cents,
a U.S. general service sleeve button,
part of a pewter spoon,
a live .45 Colt round,
some lantern parts,
some pocket watch parts,
and a bunch of other random junk.

California fish and game piece has me intrigued. Not enough to chase it... But was it a type of license? Or a badge?

Trigger might be off a kids cap gun. If it's cheap pot metal that ups the odds.
Another piece resembles a hinge for a pair of wooden wing dividers? Or a ladies paper fan...

Coins look great. As does most metal shown. Soil there has been good to them.

Your ADLAKE piece reminded me of an ADLAKE keyhole cover--though I doubt it.
Adlake is the nickname of the Adams & Westlake Company, a manufacturer of railroad and hardware supplies that was founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1857.

That's exactly what it looks like to me. Has the little pivot stud on the back and side cutouts for swinging over the keyhole.

I think the TERN is the end of the word WESTERN now lets figure out what vehicle or tractor had western in its name. Western Star semi trucks earliest I found was 1967.
