I’m not sure if this is something that you might be interested in but this site has started updating the cherts and materials you can find worked in your state for artifacts. I like it cause it helps me identify possible point colors as to what to look for when I’m out. I find most of these I’m going to share.

I like that feature too, but in my area it’s got a ton of information to fill in. A lot of the materials aren’t more than a name and a blank page, not even a picture.
