I am officially declaring that it is now open season on clad!



But....even on a "clad" day, the ancient still lurks.
The button says "Standard Gold Treble Gilt"



It's kind of funny, I didn't think very much about these
little things when I was a kid and making them.
But, now, I always find myself pleasantly surprised
when they appear in a plug.



I think that Fishy kind of agrees.



I can't tell if Blingie is pleased with his shiny-shiny,
or just transfixed by the glare.

Anyway, it is now officially open season on clad!

I have to dig out the detector and get new batteries.
Things haven't quite settled down yet. But there is light on the far horizon.
One of these days the detector and i will go for a walk.

I don't rightly know what the angled thing is, was found near the button.

I am a member of the group organized to thin out the herd. I have carte blanche. LOL

And, no this was not from my "field of dreams-farmfield" . Let me tell you, if that field could
offer this in addition to the old stuff it coughs up infrequently, I wouldn't hunt any other place!

I went out on this day to intentionally find clad, (maybe a ring). One of my clad-factories.

Welcome to the clad club. When I go out now I only expect to find clad. I still work to find gold rings, but don't expect to find any. Leave home happier, that way.
