Odd cw lead finds this w/e

Saturday I found this bullet that looks like a 2 ring prussian, but with out the rings, a first for us. And carved camp lead that was folded up so I opened just enough to clean it out and make sure he hadn't hid anything inside.


Today I found this lead with Iron fragment, that I believe to be the lead band from perhaps a Hotchkiss shell. Total wt. is 1/2 lb.

Sucker was deep too @ 14"

Nice finds. The folder, carved lead is interesting. Looks there is a hole in the center. Maybe someone was making a flower design to wear as a pendant, button, or something like that.

Not an Enfield. Has a point exactly like a Prussian, without the rings.

It does have 2 holes and I thought about that also, but the holes line up perfectly as its folded so it may have been punched while folded. Only one person knows for sure. Thks Dn
