Hello all,
Found this odd bit in the desert around central Idaho. A rail line near was built in the 1880's, found over 60 empty 25# canisters of DuPont black blasting powder near the find area. Fun this spring untill it warms up, ticks are already abundant! What do you think?

Can't really tell the size. Take a pic of it by a coin or give its measurments. It's a gear of some sort

lol Bryanhashemi, not a desert in the sense of sand dunes, camels or cactus. Just sage brush, lava fields and anual precipitation averaging 8-9 inches of water. Average elevation of 4300 +- ft. Some of the stuff I'm finding is in pretty good shape for 100 + years old.
