I had a chance to get out for a little bit today. I went back to a place I thought was hunted out but I have found some nice stuff there. There was a church there at one time. Out popped this beauty!! I love it! I have been waiting for a nice find like this to keep me going! It has a spot where a pin was soldered on , a makers mark and it looks like something hung from it. I like be the type of find that is to dirty to tell what it is till you get home but you know you have something good! I can’t get enough of the old Denver history! Happy Hunting out there! I’ll be happy for a while:) D0807570-5507-4342-A741-AC27715AC5D5.webpA614EE6E-12A2-41C9-9A79-8E58F3E78343.webp

Very interesting piece of history! :occasion14:

Thanks Professor, I found one on EBay with the capital of Wyoming hanging from it!
It was sure fun to find, not as rare as I thought. Thanks for the post. It will look good in the collection!

Hello DT1. Wow!! What a fantastic item with great a great look and content...anything on the back? I have always wanted to find a vintage IOOF piece. Thanks for posting it and Good Luck out there. C9

Nice looking piece of history! I would have a tough time deciding whether to clean that. Great patina.

Thanks Cambria, it sure does have a great design! It says Whitehead and Hoag Co Newark NJ on the back. It was a thrill to find! I hope you find one from the Odd Fellows sometime soon!

Thanks I scrubbed it pretty good down to the point where I like it! Thanks for the post! It will have a nice spot in the case!

Hi, that is a great relic find.:icon_thumleft:

That’s a really sweet find. I hunted an OOO lodge, and had high hopes of finding something like that, but alas all I got was modern coins and junk.

Well done sir.

Thanks Tom, for me finds like that seem to pop out when I least expect it. I have been over this area a half a dozen times! Up the street a friend found a gold coin on the surface behind the Elks lodge when he was a kid. I can’t seem to find anything there although I have high hopes! Good Luck:)

Excellent !!! :headbang:

That is one sweet find for sure!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny
