Off to Utah

Went to my favorite BLM campground about 18 miles from Moab, pretty much in the 'No Services Available' area but fine with me. 60's at night but once the sun came up didn't take long to hit 95, which we're not used to. Still, great time lookin over the country, lookin for petroglyphs and pictographs, and just admiring the scenery. A big shout out to the Moab City Market grocery store for having the AC going full blast. I never spent that much time shopping in one of those as I did this week.

Love Utah, been there multiple times camping and enjoying the scenery. Been to all the National parks in Utah multiple times. I love Canyonlands, Bryce, and Capital Reef.

Awesome country. We went to that area last year and had a ball. Some of the petroglyphs are incredible, and surprisingly accessible, as long as you don’t mind hiking a bit.

Years back I used to do a lot of traveling around the States . Now-a-days I must dependon reading other peoples travels . events ! It sure helps pass the time when you can't get out anymore ! I love the pictures and the stories that go wit them ! Thanks !

If you want to see a good example of these next time you go out robertk without the hiking, go along the road to Potash north of Moab along the north side of the river. If you want to hike in 100 degree weather, go up around Mill Canyon or down 7 Mile Canyon. Cool stuff around there you don't hear much about. Along Potash road, they use to have this sign up, and I had the wife pose by it, took this pic,

and thought it was funnier than all get out, but political correctness got it taken down. Almost forgot, you nailed it in that pic Terry Soloman!
