Did my bribing work? I'm so glad you're coming + bringing a friend. I guarantee y'all will not be quite the same two people you were before your arrival. ;D ;D Something about the LA food is contagious. :o The camaraderie will change your lives forever. :-X

I am pumped up about the hunt. I haven't had a get away for a couple years so this sounds like a dream. Yep RR the bribery worked LOL got me to thinking how much fun an official treasure hunting adventure could be. 8)

I'm already packed and resdy to go. Lets see, its 386 miles, if I start walking today I should be there in about 45 days......

So what ya goina do for the 9 extra days, see ya cant hunt early, (read CTH thread there black heilos to watch for ;D)
But if ya get there early you can help Noodle get ready! Now that would be alot of fun, I know I had fun watching for everybody to walk thru the door in Caldwell!

It is going to be fun meeting all the new faces and being with the old friends again!

But official!! Never not with all of us!

I figure I'll have to lay-up in the hotel or most likely, lay-up in the hospital. I keep forgettin I'm not as young as I think I am.....

I did notice no one mentioned anything about "Nap Time" in the schedule.....

Looking forward to seein' ya'll.....

Folks have been asking about a Friday night hunt if we finish with our activities early enough. ABSOLUTELY!! But the areas designated will be well away from the official hunt sites because there's no fudging on the "tokened" areas. Everybody starts at the same time on those sites on Saturday morning.

If you want to hunt Friday before the festivities begin, everybody is free to start hunting at 4:00 p.m. to get a couple of hours of practice in before food is served. That would be "supper" in this neck of the woods. The east and north portions of the property are available just for that. The south and west areas are off limits. If you want to hunt after supper, the same areas will be available, but be aware ... it's dark in them thar woods!

When you come in, check in at the greenhouse, get your credentials, sign your waivers, and get directions where you can hunt at that time. NO HUNTING UNTIL THAT IS COMPLETED.
I'm a taskmaster, aren't I?? ;D

Don't even think of missing the evening meal and festivities. :( Lots of information, maps and hunt kits will be handed out at the Friday welcome festivities. ;)

Met up with La Beep and Tensas at the all you can eat Sanders in Mamgam Saturday night, and met back up with La Beep today in Rayville, to check out his toys. The Beepster and his beautiful bride were a delight to meet. Looking forward to meeting more of you guys in the future. Sorry Noodle, spur-of-the moment get-together, and I did not have your number with me.
