Gosh, so sorry folks are suffering. >:(

The daffodils are blooming down here and the showers are falling. Dan and I are working hard getting ready for this thing! JD and Burdie?? I understand your sufferings!! But it's fun!! Look for some pics forthcoming in the next week on sites and prizes already arriving. Supposed to have some bad weather tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night, and Friday morning. Looks like I'll have to go out Saturday or Sunday and get pics. Springtime in Louisiana!!! -Noodle

I finally figured it out, and it's really great! Everybody is over on imafishingnut's thread on "contests." He puts out a new puzzle every few hours, and everybody is going nuts over it!

It's been going on for days! Go check it out! Keeps the gray matter going!

Spring is springing here too, I've noticed the cypress & oaks budding out, mayhaws are in bloom too. Winter is not officially over till you see the pecan trees budding. The skeeters are biting!!!!!!!!! Been working on getting more door prizes and goodies for the Lagniappe bags...just stay tuned. Heard back from Fisher...will be shipping out goodies, they just don't tell you what it is.

Have gotten some wonderful packages of coins, etc., from donors! BIG stuff!! Going to be some happy folks, I hope!

Anyway, it's all in fun and from what I hear, folks are coming to get together with each other more than anything. And lots of new folks!! Watch out for the spring thaw in Kansas and Missouri. My dad is up there and they're just praying for spring!!! We're warming up here. Thank goodness!

In order to find just the perfect themed logo for the LBH. Searching the www was not getting anywhere with me. I thought about my framed pictures on the wall, took them down, scanned, resized and sent to Noodle. Between the scanning & resizing, with all the hard work, consulting, deliberating, PMing and emailing back & forth between myself, Djabend and Noodle. It is announced officially... the Louisiana Bayou Hunt logo.

A special thanks to Donny for putting up with us two southern belles, creating the graphics and moving a gator for us. :-*

It seems like posts are runnin' kinda slow lately, Partly my fault too, bad weather here just like everywhere else. I' lookin' forward to meetin you and everyone else. I am new to group hunts though, kind shy I guess.
My huntin' buddies here have been wimpin' out on me lately. Can you believe they have other things to do?

Man! We're drowning down here! Got 4" (rain) last Saturday and already about that much today again, with 12 more hours' worth forecast!!! Streets are flooded! And I have a half-mile dirt driveway!!

I was wondering about the Missouri folks. E-mailed WSD, but haven't heard back! How 'bout it, ME22, BB and RidgeRunner?? Ya'll staying out of the ditches??

WE WILL HAVE T-SHIRTS!! Nana and I are working on the best deal!! Never fear!!!

Lance,Gunsmoke,went right through Rayville this am.He called and said if it wasn't raining so hard he'd call Noodle and buy breakfast.It was about 730am so I told him they are late sleepers.He continued on to Dallas.We have about 2 1/2" of sleet right now.20 degrees.

You just never know about our Lousyana weather....I highly suggest everyone to bring rubber boots or hip boots...I believe it's already on the "Don't forget to bring list".
