If you're not use to dew in the mornings, to avoid wet shoes/socks/feet bring your rubber boots. Believe me the dew is thick/heavy and does not dry in the shady places till around 10:00 or later.

Our temps in south LA has been averaging in the mid 80's, weather channel states closer to the 90's for next week. It's been very humid/muggy...excessive sweating, clothes sticking to you, frizzy hair...typical Lousyana weather

No more cold weather for us...the pecan trees have budded out.

I don't know what y'all are so afraid of. I figured this quiz around the out-of-state hunters...just simple little easy 1st grade questions. Now, it looks like some of the locals are scared to death...maybe they don't know their history/geography. Most is coming from what you've been reading here and on the other thread.

I see no one had attempted to answer the 2 questions listed back a few posts. Shame on ya!

Wellllll, I admit I know the answers to those two questions, but only because I live here. And I have an Internet connection. But, ya know, the history involved in those two questions is neat! It might interest you! (That's a hint...)

And the home of the Biedenharm (I think I spelled that wrong) family is in Monroe and open for touring. And the COMPANY of the Biedenharm family is in Vicksburg, only an hour away. Just an itty bitty store-type place, but filled with lots of history! But, I can't tell you what KIND of history!
