weather right now is just LOUSY! Cool, damp, cloudy. Which means:

IT'S GOING TO BE GREAT IN TWO WEEKS!!!

Gosh, you guys! I'm getting excited. I keep having nightmares that everybody has arrived and all my food is still frozen. Nothing to eat. And Friday is going to be a madhouse. Do you realize that folks are coming in with 10,000 prizes for us to set up, catalog and get set for handing out? Please be patient...

The switch is very small and it gets dirt in it and stops working. I bought some contact cleaner today and cleaned it out and then I hot glued the speaker hole shut and a few other spots inside the case. We'll see how that goes. I have a different type of switch that I am going to put on next if this doesn't work.

It gets $$$$ when you have to pay $6.95 and shipping every few months.

Used the Vibrprobe with my daughter in the front yard today. She decided she wanted to hunt with her 1100 so for 15 minutes we played around in the front yard and dug a 76, 78, 80 and 82 penny! She loves it when she finds the copper ones.

I fixed one for a friend that the button didn't work on and just put in a small 2 position toggle from radio shack's tron section. It has held up quite well and if mine every fails I will do it to it too.

Sounds you and your daughter had a great time together congrats on great hunting together

It was so gorgeous, we spent the entire afternoon just staring at the fields and woods, while we got the greenhouse readied for company. Several relatives were supposed to come and visit, but when the weather turned out so beautiful, everybody stayed home and mowed and cleaned up yards. Can't blame them!!!

It was a beautiful day, so much in fact that Fonfixer and I had to go out and dig some stuff. He found his first silver dimes today. Two, not just one. Old and beautiful....we ended up with 6 wheaties and a hand full of clad, a couple nickels, just a real great day to be out. I think our weather will be just fine come hunt time.
And Noodle, I think I have another new hunter and his wife coming with me so he will be sending his money in shortly.

Life is good!!!!!

Goldie, it's getting beautiful down here! Wish you could join us!! Everything has green'd up and weeds are popping up along with the lawns! ha! Today was just the epitomy of spring. Blue skies, mild temps, slow breezes, and damp soils. Just perfect. ahhhhhhhhh

Beautiful day today we went up and hunted with Burdie today my first time out this year ( Jeffs been keeping me locked up) Anyway we had a great time, I don't know if hes posting my finds ! But we had fun with Stan!
