Sounds like a great day,, I always get accused over packing taking to much and the --- What did you bring that for?! -- but I usually walk out with leaving something important --the camera the directions

all the rain so far has gone to Wichita and north, but, they're predicting severe storms with hail and possible twisters late tonight early morning

I've had my DFX since Dec. and so far I've learned that it likes to tell you (you found a nickel possible ring) and 98% of the time it's a pull tab LOL

lol snif ol buddy I look at the vdi number not the icon picture, I don't know how your set up by in a preset one you should see them in the 22-26 range. However you need to dig anyway to be sure it is a tab

Sorry, Nana, the cat-in-the-bag story will never die out. It's a classic. Sorry if it's disturbing to you; that, I understand. But you're over-ruled. Tell Charlie to practice retelling it. No details left out. Am so sorry. I'll donate you another cat. I have plenty, and they're all "fixed."

Paid for the tables and chairs today. Lots of eating and seating! Some thunderstorms expected in the area this week, but nothing major. The main item seems to center on all the rivers rising due to upstream floods. When the Mississippi rises, so do the tributaries. Don't know what the bayou will be doing 10 days from now, but the local rivers are UPUPUPUP. Some of the wooded areas may be holding water, but the majority of the area will be clear.

Had a question today on what to bring for digging. Soil here is sandy loam, which means no rock and just good digging soils. In the wooded areas, roots may be a problem, but if you have a serrated tool, like a Gator, shouldn't be a problem. On my property, you can dig with anything you like, including shovels. However, on the Sunday areas, which are more "lawn," you'll need something smaller and a cloth to capture dirts for refilling. Hope that description makes sense.
